About this quiz

This is not a careers aptitude test, and it won't tell you which job to apply for. What it does is sort the way you like to work into one of eight patterns, based on the problems you find satisfying, the kind of day that suits you and what actually drains you. That combination tends to be more useful than a list of job titles.

Career quizzes usually fail because they ask what you'd like to be rather than what you'd like to do all day. A teacher and a healer both work with people, but one gets energy from explanation and the other from being useful in the moment. Those are different jobs with different exhaustion patterns, and the questions here are built to separate them.

No pattern outranks another, and none of them is a verdict on your ability. They describe preference, and preference is allowed to change โ€” plenty of people move from engineer to teacher or from analyst to entrepreneur as their circumstances shift. If your result reads wrong, trust that reaction; you have more information about yourself than five questions do.

The same answers give the same result, so there's no reason to retake it unless your situation has genuinely changed. If you're weighing a real decision โ€” a career change, a business move, the timing of it โ€” the one-to-one consultation looks at your actual circumstances rather than sorting you into a type.
