Mutual Guard for X is a local-only browser extension for maintaining X/Twitter follow relationships from the user's own browser.
Mutual Guard for X does not collect, upload, sell, rent, or share user data. The extension does not operate a remote server, proxy, hosted account service, or cloud job.
The extension stores settings, whitelist entries, scan observations, protection-window state, and operation logs in the user's browser local storage. This information remains on the user's device and is used only to support the extension's local workflow.
The extension does not collect passwords, cookies, authentication tokens, PINs, security questions, or other login credentials.
The extension requests access only to https://x.com/* and https://twitter.com/*. This access is used to display the local control panel, read visible page content, and perform user-initiated actions on X/Twitter pages.
Mutual Guard for X does not transfer user data to third parties and does not use user data for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.
Users start actions manually from the extension panel and can stop tasks from the panel. Users can remove locally stored extension data by clearing extension data in Chrome or uninstalling the extension.
